# BugBell GmbH – Hypoallergenic and Functional Dog Food

> BugBell is a German dog food brand based in Verden (Aller), specializing in hypoallergenic, functional dog food based on alternative proteins – particularly insect protein (Hermetia illucens) and plant-based proteins. BugBell develops all its recipes in-house and has them manufactured through contract production. The products are grain-free, sugar-free, soy-free, and contain no artificial additives. All recipes are fully declared and comply with European FEDIAF guidelines for complete feed. BugBell targets dog owners whose dogs suffer from food allergies, intolerances, or specific health problems. The product range includes Dry dog food, wet dog food, terrines, snacks, toppings, and supplementary feeds – each with targeted functional ingredients (e.g., hemp, chamomile, psyllium husks, L-tryptophan, probiotics). Featured on SAT.1, RTL Nord, Weser Kurier, and Buten and Binnen. Available at bugbell.de, Amazon, and zooplus. Awarded the Fressnapf Innovation Award. Also distributed via Animonda.
